Two of my favorite things!  Tea and pink!

Who doesn't love a good tea? And let's face it, most women love pink!  With Pinterest, one can have hours of fun cultivating both!  Sights for the senses, and hours of fun, Pinterest is also the best friend and worst enemy of many a writer!  I love it!  But I can't get any writing done if I let myself get sucked in!  So I have to use it as a treat.  A fun reward when I get my word count in!  If not, I can't go play!  How many other authors out there have fallen prey to this time sucking vampire that we now can't hardly live without?

Meet Harrison Cooke and Sadie Jones

'His Prairie Princess' is the first of the Prairie Brides series which in turn are the first set of stories about the people in the small town of Clear Creek. Though their story is short, (novella length) Harrison and Sadie will continue on throughout the series and readers will get to watch them grow in their relationship. Subsequent books will be book length at 50,000 words or more.

As an author, when I create something, I tend to create something big. Like an entire town. Readers get to watch Clear Creek grow throughout the series, get to really know the families and community, and laugh and cry along with them. Many of us long for such closeness in community which is why we love stories that allow us into the lives of characters that have such a precious treasure. I've lived in my community for about a year and a half now and still don't know any of the neighbors! Knock on their doors and you wonder if they're going to answer with a gun if come to the door at all! And I'm in the nice part of town!

So I hope you all enjoy reading the introduction to Clear Creek with Harrison and Sadie's story in 'His Prairie Princess'.

Tea, Theives, Scones, Bullets and Romance!

Hi!  And welcome to my blog!  Yes, it's finally here and I must say it's been a long time coming!  To find out a little more about me check out this interview with Scribblers Ink!  Also, check out my books on amazon!  Just click on the book covers on the right hand side of this blog.

I'm a history buff, old west lover and tea fanatic, (not to mention a hopeless chocolate snob) and love to knit a good yarn!  No, really, the cotton, wool, and silk variety. And these are just a few of my favorite things.  All of which will fall here! So stay tuned for some fun posts, interviews, book reviews and silly things about tea, knitting, romance, and of course, the old west!
